Ahoy from the Catalina 440!

Patrick and Thomas joined us this year at Whidbey - relief from Tacoma heat for them; from solitude, for us. We took a sailboat cruise from Coupeville and enjoyed perfect weather with Mt Baker and the Olympics in full view.

Jeffrey's Birthday

Well, it was the happiest place on earth for a few moments, as we all celebrated Jeffrey's birthday! Way to go, Jeffrey!

Michael on skis

Took Michael up to Mammoth Mountain for a ski lesson. His instructor, Maria, taught him to do a "pizza" to stop; "french fries" to continue straight. Junk food terms have replaced the boring "snowplow" of my youth.
